It’s the seat of the El Glaoui family’s power and is sometimes called the Palace of Glaoui. The current Kasbah was built starting in 1860 by Mohammed Ibiyet, the head of the Glaoui clan in the High Atlas. The Kasbah is now abandoned except a small part which can be visited and it’s one of the most extraordinary sights of the High Atlas Mountains.

Today, it become a popular tourist destination where visitors can explore the beautiful mud city and some of the old houses from the inside. After visiting the Kasbah and get your lunch, You will drive back to Marrakech. Some stops on the way as much as the daylight allows you.
