Pick-up from Mohammed V Airport. Stop in Casablanca to visit the Hassan II Mosque, then continue to Rabat. Explore Hassan Tower and the Oudaya Kasbah before checking into your riad in the Medina. Overnight in riad (BB).
After breakfast, travel to Meknes. Visit Bab Mansour, Sahrij Souani Basin, and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Continue to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, then drive via the Rif foothills to Fes. Overnight in riad (BB).
Begin with the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish quarter (Mellah), and cultural landmarks like Al-Qaraouine University, Tanneries, Attarine Museum, and Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. Visit a tile cooperative and enjoy panoramic views of the Medina. Overnight in riad (BB).
Drive through Ifrane, “the Switzerland of Morocco,” and the cedar forest to see Barbary apes. Continue via the Middle and High Atlas mountains, Tiz Ntalghamt Pass, and Ziz Gorge. Lunch in Errachidia, then follow the Ziz Valley to Erfoud and Merzouga. Overnight in hotel/riad (DBB).
Visit Khamlia village for Gnawa music, the lake of Merzouga, and nomad communities. In the afternoon, enjoy a camel trek into the dunes. Dinner and overnight in desert camp (with toilets) (DBB).
Catch sunrise over Erg Chebbi, then camel trek back to Merzouga. Drive to Rissani, Tinghir, and the stunning Todra Gorge. After lunch, continue to Dades Valley with its kasbahs, sandcastles, and “monkey toes” rock formations. Overnight in hotel (DBB).
Travel through the Rose Valley and Skoura Oasis, visiting 17th-century Kasbah Amridil. Stop at Taourirt Kasbah and Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. Cross the High Atlas via Tizi n’Tichka Pass, arriving in Marrakech by evening. Overnight in riad (BB).
Visit the Saadian Tombs, El Bahia and El Badi Palaces, and Ben Youssef Madrasa. Lunch near Jemaa el-Fnaa square, then explore Majorelle and Menara Gardens and Koutoubia Mosque. Overnight in riad (BB).
