This private journey combines Morocco’s most iconic highlights, from the enchanting “Blue City” of Chefchaouen to the imperial cities of Fes and Marrakech, the golden dunes of the Sahara, and the dramatic landscapes of the Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you’ll explore UNESCO World Heritage sites, vibrant souks, and breathtaking natural scenery.
Meet your driver/guide at the port or airport and depart for Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue City” nestled in the Rif Mountains. Explore its charming medina with white-and-bluewashed walls, markets, and mountain views. Overnight in a riad. (BB)
After breakfast, drive to Fes (approx. 4 hrs). Visit the Royal Palace gate, the Mellah (Jewish quarter), Al Qaraouine University, tanneries, Attarine Museum, and Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. Overnight in a riad. (BB)
Depart Fes via Ifrane (“the Switzerland of Morocco”) and the cedar forests of Azrou. Continue through Midelt, the Ziz Valley, and Erfoud to reach Merzouga. Camel trek across the dunes, enjoy sunset, dinner, and overnight in a desert camp. (DBB)
Witness sunrise over the dunes, then return by camel to Merzouga. Drive to Rissani, Tinghir, and the spectacular Todra Gorge. Continue to Dades Valley, famous for its rock formations and kasbahs. Overnight in hotel. (BDB)
Travel via the Rose Valley, Skoura Oasis, and Taourirt Kasbah. Visit Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO site and filming location. Cross the High Atlas via Tizi n’Tichka pass to Marrakech. Overnight in riad. (BB)
