MARRAKECH TO FES OFFROAD to explore the splendid landscapes of the high Atlas mountains, fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, Taourirt Kasbah, Draa valley, Paris Dakar Off-road, Camel trekking in Erg Chebbi, Todra gorges and middle Atlas mountains.

Itinerary: 5 Days Desert Tour From Marrakech To Fes

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Zagora

Start your MARRAKECH TO FEZ OFFROAD trip from your hotel towards the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2260m altitude. We will pass by Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou and visit one of the Kasbahs (fortified villages). Lunch will depend on the location. In the afternoon, we will head towards Ouarzazate and continue towards Zagora passing through the Anti-Atlas, the Berber village of Agdez and the Draa valley, to arrive at Zagora (gateway to the Sahara) where you will spend your first night. Night in a Riad/Hotel. Dinner, night and breakfast
 

Day 2: Zagora – Gorges du Mharch (Paris Dakar Offroad)

After breakfast you will travel on rarely visited off-roads, and in a little visited area you will discover different landscapes, mountains, reg, hamadas, acacias, lunch will be a picnic, continue to gorge m’harch, spend the night in a hotel/Riad with dinner and breakfast.
 

Day 3: Mharch to Merzouga

You wake up early to walk a little in the Harch gorges before joining the 4×4 following the PARIS – DAKAR track near the Algerian border where you can see the rock drawing (Graffiti) of BC. Then you cross; Ouzina, a small Berber village, and you will again be in another set of dunes, through dry sub-Saharan wadis. Arrival in Merzouga in the afternoon. You will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before your camel ride, guided by an experienced camel driver to explore the golden sand sea of Merzouga. Dinner in front of the tent where you will spend the night. (BDB).
 

Day 4: Merzouga to the Todra Gorges

You will wake up early in the morning to observe what could well be the most beautiful sunrise of your life. I will return peacefully on camel back to the village of Merzouga. En route, you cannot fail to appreciate the beauty of the spectacular sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. After breakfast at the riad, you will depart for the Rissani Tinghir and Todra gorges – the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. You can take a 2-hour trek to Todgha Palmerais to discover the hidden culture of the region. Night in a Riad/Hotel with (BDB).
 

Day 5: Todgha Gorges – Cedar Forest – Fez

Early morning departure from your hotel towards the Middle Atlas via the Tizi N’Tlghomt pass at 1907 m altitude. Lunch will be in Midelt. After which, we will cross the cedar woods of Azrou and the Middle Atlas where you will observe wild monkeys, then the city of Ifrane known as the Switzerland of Morocco before ending in Fez.
