Itinerary: 4 Days From Fes To Marrakech

Day 1: Fes to Merzouga via Ifrane Midelt and Atlas mountains

Leave Fes after breakfast and head south through Ifrane and the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, where Barbary apes live. Continue via Midelt, the Tizi N’Talghamt Pass and Ziz Gorge, watching the scenery shift from mountains to desert. Pass Errachidia and follow the lush Ziz Valley to Erfoud and Rissani. Arrive in Merzouga mid-afternoon for mint tea, then take a camel ride across the dunes to your desert camp for dinner and overnight.
 

Day 2: Merzouga to Dades via Todra gorges and Tinghir

Your camelman will wake you up early in the morning to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life. You’ll peacefully camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga. Enroute you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast in the riad, you’ll leave for Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch, we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Overnight accommodation will be in a Hotel.
 

Day 3 : Trek in the Valley

After the breakfast in the hotel, you will start your trek in Dades valley  and mountains ,today you will walk through the green valley overlooking the villages bordered by cereal fields, almond trees. For everyone looking for real Morocco, Dades Valley is a must visit. Groves of olive and fig trees, silent kasbah ruins from the past, Berber architecture and friendly people.  From what you will see during your trip in Morocco, Dades Valley will be one of the most picturesque places.Many secrets will be discovered during this trek. Night in the same hotel with dinner bed and breakfast
 

Day 4: Dades to Marrakech via Ouarzazate Ait benhaddou Kasbah and hight Atlas Mountains

After your breakfast at the hotel,we will start the last day in our trip driving via the thousand kasbah route, the rose vally ,a stop by Taourirt kasbah (the former residence of the Glaoui), Then drive to Ait Benhaddou an ancient Kasbah (fortified village) listed as UNESCO’s heritage site, and many famous movies were also filmed there, for an hour guided visit and your lunch will be there, before another 4 hours drive via the tizi ntichka pass with stops along, get to Marrakech around 18:00
