Days Fez Merzouga Marrakech trip is a multidays tour that begins in Fez and ends in Marrakech, which allows you to spend 1 night in a desert camp. it allows you also visit Ait Ben HaddouTodra gorges, Dades valley and Ouarzazate. Tours from Fez to the Sahara involve a journey through various landscapes, historic sites, and ultimately reaching the mesmerizing sand dunes of the Sahara. These tours typically offer a unique and adventurous experience, allowing participants to explore the desert, ride camels, witness stunning sunsets and sunrises over the dunes, and perhaps even spend a night in a desert camp.

Itinerary: 4 Days Fez to Merzouga and Marrakech

Day 1: Fez- Cedar forest – Midelt – Merzouga

During this 4 days Fez Merzouga Marrakech journey, You’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Stopping in the middle of the famous cedar forest (the largest in Morocco). Here you may see the Barbary apes. After sometime within the forest your journey continues to Midelt along the magnificent hills and mountains. Then through the fascinating Tizi Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge. Lunch will be whenever you want it. Taking in views of the High Atlas plateau. You’ll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia.  Afterwards, you will travel along the luxuriant Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud then to Erg chebbi dunes where you will spend your first night in a hotel near the dunes. Dinner and Breakfast.
 

Day 2: Merzouga area and camel ride

After breakfast in your riad, you will start an explorative journey of the area before you camel trek and spend the night at the desert camp. Today, you’ll visit the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, to experience their music, dances and lifestyle. Not far away. M’Ifis old mine and a short visit to the nomads living between the sand dunes and Algerian border. In the afternoon you will mount your camel, guided by an experienced camel man to explore within the golden sand sea of Merzouga. Dinner in the camp where you will spend the Night.
 

Day 3: Merzouga – Todgha gorges – Dades valley

Today, You will wack up to see and take picture of the sunrise and to have your breakfast, before riding your camels back to the village (there is possibility to do it by a 4wd) optional. Meeting your driver to start your second day toward Dades valley via Todgha green Valley and Gorges. Here you will have some free time to explore it on your own. Then to Dades valley where the majestic rock formations known as monkies toes… Many foto stops will be on your way , arrive to your hotel in the valley where your night will be with dinner and breakfast.
 

Day 4: Dades- Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou- Marrakech

After your breakfast at the hotel, You will start the last day in the trip driving via the thousand kasbah route, the rose and Skoura valley then short stop in Ouarzazate in front of Taourirt kasbah (the former residence of the Glaoui). Drive then to Ait Benhaddou an ancient Kasbah (fortified village) listed as UNESCO’s heritage site since 1987. Many famous movies were filmed here, You will have about 2 hour to visit the Kasbah and to have your lunch then another 4 hours drive via tizi ntichka pass (2260 m ALT) with stops along, drop you off in your hotel in Marrakech around 19:00. The end of your trip.
