Begin in Errachidia and drive through the Ziz Valley to Merzouga for a camel ride and night in a desert camp. The next day, explore the region by 4×4, visiting nomad families, abandoned mines and Khamlia village with optional quad biking, before spending the night in a hotel. Conclude with an early transfer back to Errachidia Airport for your flight to Marrakech.
Arrival at Errachidia Airport around 16:00 from Marrakech. Meet your driver and begin your trip to Merzouga through the scenic Ziz Valley with its lush palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Continue via Erfoud, known for its fossils, before reaching Merzouga. Upon arrival, take a camel ride into the golden dunes to your desert camp. Enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars and overnight in a comfortable tent.
After breakfast, set off on a full day of desert exploration by 4×4. Visit nomad families living in the desert, discover abandoned mines, and stop at the village of Khamlia to enjoy live Gnaoua music. Optional quad bike rides can be arranged for extra adventure. Return to Merzouga and spend the night in a hotel or riad for comfort and relaxation.
Rise early for a transfer back to Errachidia Airport in time for your flight back to Marrakech.
This 2 Night experience offers a perfect introduction to the Merzouga Desert, combining a camel trek, overnight camp, and 4×4 exploration of the surrounding area. All transfers from and back to Errachidia Airport are included. Please bring comfortable clothing, sun protection, and a camera to capture the stunning landscapes.
